Position Summary
Responsible for managing the sales and marketing processes within a designated area resulting in increased sales and market penetration, customer satisfaction, profitability and current receivables collections.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Directly manage Commercial Account Managers (CAM) in assigned area.
* Assist CAM's in supporting the sales goals for designated outside sales team to increase the customer base, market share and sales volume.
* Develop and maintain consistent customer contact to ensure that time spent with the customer is beneficial to both parties resulting in increased customer satisfaction, improved communication and responsiveness to customer's needs, concerns and issues.
* Solicit prospecti8ve customers and penetrate existing accounts to increase sales, drive gross profit, obtain new account and support E-commerce initiatives.
* Meet with direct reports on a regular basis to communicate company information including new initiates, financial performance, goals and objective, benchmarks and best practices.
* Make certain that CAM's are qualified and knowledgeable in company programs, systems and promotions through training sessions and by managing/tracking performance.
* Schedule, implement and participate in various training programs.
* Develop, track and measure goals for product line change over from existing customers.
* Develop and support sales programs designed to pull product through to the installer level and to improve loyalty.
* Communicate and report on monthly initiatives, programs and successes. Prepare and present a written summary of sales and marketing activities, program, presentations competitive analysis, etc.
* Work with operations team and store managers to strength sales growth opportunities and current receivable collection rates.
* Explore opportunities that may be available for expansion into new or specialized market.
* Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* High school diploma required.
* Associate's degree required in business administration, management, marketing or similar.
* Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, marketing, operations or similar.
* 2 years automotive parts outside sales experience.
* Strong sales experience.
* Comfortable utilizing up-selling techniques.
* Experience cold calling customers.
* Ability to exercise judgement and to work independently.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Ability to handle difficult customer situations.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated consistency, accuracy and follow-through.
* Extensive product knowledge or the ability to obtain product knowledge.
* Must maintain a valid driver's license that meets the criteria under company policy.
